Rates for online banner advertising are as follows, for monthly placements. Rates can be pro-rated for shorter or longer periods. Note that some sizes are only available on the homepage or non-homepage spaces.

* Ads placed on News Blog pages will appear on every News page, including newly posted pages, during the run of the ad. New pages per month on this blog typically run 20+.

** Ads placed on Reviews, Perspectives, or Roundtable blog pages will appear on every page of the blog, including newly posted pages, during the run of the ad. New pages per month on these blogs typically run from 2 to 10.

*** 'Current pages' are those regularly updated pages that are one-click away from the homepage, and typically include Links Portal, Author Events, Conventions, and Forthcoming Books. Requests for these or other specific pages will be honored.

Rates shown are monthly, but weekly rates are available, as are discounts for other combinations, multiple and long-term orders.

Multiple Ad Special:
Combinations of two or more of the above rates will be discounted by 20% of the total.

Special Placement Charge:
There is a $50 charge to reserve the topmost banner or box position on the homepage.

Locus Online will design ads based on graphics and short quotes that you supply. The charge for this is an extra $125 per ad, static or animated.

Reporting:
Daily access totals for the entire site and for individual pages are available by request (we will have to provide you a log in account and password). Locus Online does not guarantee minimum views or clicks for ads, and we do not provide reports to the advertiser.
