Redshirts by John Scalzi made its debut at number one on the hardcover list this month, with George R.R. Martin’s A Dance with Dragons in second place. The new runner-up was Home from the Sea by Mercedes Lackey (DAW), with only 37 titles nominated, down quite a bit from the 52 we saw last month.
George R.R. Martin continues to rule the paperback list, with A Game of Thrones and A Storm of Swords taking first and second, respectively. The new runner-up was Year’s Best SF 17 edited by David G. Hartwell & Kathryn Cramer (Harper Voyager US), with 48 titles nominated, down a bit from last month’s 51.
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline debuted in first place on the trade paperback list this month by a large margin. There was no new runner-up, out of 32 titles nominated, down from 38 last month.
Star Trek: Typhon Pact: Raise the Dawn by David R. George III was first on the media-related titles this month and there was no new runner-up. There were 12 titles nominated, down from last month’s 15.
Warhammer 40,000: The Horus Heresy: The Primarchs edited by Christian Dunn moved up one spot to number one in the gaming-related titles, and there was no new runner-up. There were 26 titles nominated, up quite a bit from the 16 we saw last month.
