George R.R. Martin’s A Dance with Dragons took first place on the hardcover list this month, trading places with Redshirts by John Scalzi, which moved to the number two spot. The new runner-up was Sky Dragons by Anne McCaffrey & Todd McCaffrey (Del Rey) with 38 titles nominated, up from the 37 we saw last month.

George R.R. Martin continues to rule the paperback list, with A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings taking first and second, respectively. The new runner-up was Heaven’s Shadow by David S. Goyer & Michael Cassutt (Ace) with 55 titles nominated, up a bit from last month’s 48.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline remained in first place on the trade paperback list this month by a large margin. The new runner-up was Leviathan’s Wake by James S.A. Corey (Orbit US), out of 34 titles nominated, up from 32 last month.

Star Wars: Choices of One by Timothy Zahn was first on the media-related titles this month and the new runner-up was Doctor Who: Shada, Douglas Adams & Gareth Roberts (Ace). There were 18 titles nominated, up from last month’s 12.

Forgotten Realms: Neverwinter by R.A. Salvatore took the number one spot in the gaming-related titles, and there was no new runner-up. There were 20 titles nominated, down from the 26 we saw last month.
