All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.

Charlaine Harris' long-awaited ninth Sookie Stackhouse novel, Dead and Gone (Ace), was published May 5th and debuts spectacularly on print bestseller lists this week -- #1 on fiction hardcover lists at New York Times, Washington Post, and Publishers Weekly.
Meanwhile, the latest J.R.R. Tolkien volume exhumed by Christopher Tolkien, The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) debuts on print lists this week (after peaking and quickly dropping off Amazon lists), ranking as high as #6 this week on the Washington Post list, #10 at NYT and PW.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is still doing very well in its 10th week on lists, though it's worth noting that the #1 position on the Washington Post list is on its "Nonfiction/General" paperback list -- not the Fiction paperback list.
Harris' new book has pulled several of the earlier titles in the series back onto paperback lists.
Stephenie Meyer still occupies the top four slots on Amazon UK's list today.
