All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.

The Strain (William Morrow), a horror novel about vampires, and first of a trilogy, by film director Guillermo Del Toro and co-writer Chuck Hogan, was officially published today and ranks significantly on all three Amazon lists -- #26 on Canada's, #49 on Amazon.com, and #66 on Amazon UK.
More modest debuts this week: Joe Abercrombie's Best Served Cold is #52 on Amazon UK; the paperback reprint of Karen Traviss' Star Wars: Republic Commando: Order 66 eeks onto Amazon.com's list today at #148.
Pride and Prejudice with Zombies still rides high; Stephenie Meyer still occupies four of the top five slots at Amazon UK.
