All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.

Laurell K. Hamilton's Skin Trade (Berkley), Book 17 of her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, debuts impressively on print lists this week, ranking #1 on fiction hardcover lists at New York Times, Washington Post, and Publishers Weekly, and #6 on the combined USA Today list. (At the same time, it's slid precipitously on Amazon lists since debuting on those three weeks ago.)
Also debuting significantly on print lists this week: Guillermo Del Toro & Chuck Hogan's vampire novel The Strain (William Morrow), ranking #9 on the same three lists Hamilton ranks #1 on; and MaryJanice Davidson's Undead and Unwelcome (Berkley), Book 8 in her Queen Betsy vampire series, debuting at #14 on the NYT and PW lists.
