All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.

Stephen King's collection of four novellas, Full Dark, No Stars (Scribner) debuts strongly on print lists this week, ranking #2 on the fiction hardcover lists at New York Times and Publishers Weekly, #3 at Washington Post, #6 on the combined USA Today list.
Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson's Towers of Midnight slips only a bit on three print lists, and jumps on another, ranking #4 this week on four lists.
Note that NYT has redesigned its Bestsellers pages; no cover images, serifed fonts, with a stronger distinction between the primary list of 15 (or 20) titles on each list and the "also selling" 16th (or 21st) through 35th titles, and with separate headers on the bestsellers homepage for the various children's lists. Note that this page does not compiles NYT graphic books or manga lists.
