Nick Lake Wins Printz Award

In Darkness by Nick Lake (Bloomsbury USA) won the 2013 Michael L. Printz Award. The award was announced at the annual A.L.A. midwinter conference, January 25-29, 2013 in Seattle WA. The Printz Award is given to a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. Also of genre interest among the four Printz Honor books was Dodger by Terry Pratchett.
