2015 Costa Book Award Winners

There were three 2015 Costa Book Award winners of genre interest: A God in Ruins by Kate Atkinson (Doubleday) won the Costa Novel prize, The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge (Macmillan Children’s) won in the Children’s Book category, and The Loney by Andrew Michael Hurley (John Murray) won for First Novel.

The winners of the five Costa Book Award categories were announced January 4, 2016.  Each winner receives £5,000. The winner for the Costa Book of the Year, an award accompanied by a £30,000 prize, will be selected from among those five winners and announced January 26, 2016.
