National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35

The National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 Honorees list includes Lesley Nneka Arimah for What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky: Stories (Riverhead).

The honorees represent “a selection of debut fiction writers under the age of 35 whose work promises to leave a lasting impression on the literary landscape.” Each honoree will receive $1,000 at a ceremony on November 13, 2017. The selection committee for the 5 Under 35 includes Sherman Alexie and Lydia Millet.
