Spectrum Fantastic Art Live in San Francisco

Artist-focused convention Spectrum Fantastic Art Live is moving from Kansas City MO to San Francisco CA for its 2016 event, to be held October 28-30, 2016 at the Academy of Art University’s Jerrold building.  

2017 Worldcon in Helsinki

Helsinki in 2017 won the bid to host the 2017 Worldcon. Worldcon 75 will be held August 9-13, 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. 2015 Hugo Base Competition

Sasquan, the 73rd Worldcon, August 19-23, 2015 in Spokane WA, opened the competition to design the base of the 2015 Hugo Award on December 18, 2014. Lunacon 2015 Canceled

Lunacon 2015 has been canceled, according to the Lunacon Facebook page. Lunacon, the official convention for the New York Science Fiction Society (the Lunarians, Inc.), is slated to return March 18-20, 2016. Those who bought memberships for 2015 will be contacted and offered a refund or membership in Lunacon 2016.
