The Saturn Awards are given to SF, fantasy, and horror films and TV. They're given by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films, which was founded by the late Dr. Donald A. Reed.

At present this Index includes only Saturn Award winners.

Issues and controversies Though the awards have a high profile, with participation by notable Hollywood celebrities, coverage by the Los Angeles Times and the like, there is little apparent overlap between the Academy constituency (whose principal membership benefit is admission to private screenings — for those who live in Southern California) and the community of SF/F/H readers and fans.
