FAQ List

What short works have won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards? [ List by Author | by Year ]

As with novels, double-wins for short fiction were most common in the 1970s, with 13 out of a possible 27 (with three short fiction categories, there are more opportunities for double-wins than with novels; however, the Hugos had only 2 short fiction categories from '70 through '72). In the 1980s 10 stories won both awards; in the '90s, only 7 won both — only four since 1994. Year shown is year of publication.
