"Book with No Name" Kit Williams (Knopf/Borzoi 0-394-53817-X, Jun ’84 [May ’84], $10.95, unpaginated, hc); A book which will remain untitled until someone wins a contest to choose the right name. Aside from being a contest (“void where prohibited by law”), this is a book of intricately beautiful illustrations and a short story/fable which is a fantasy of the seasons. It’s worth a look. (FCM)

Williamson (Maclay & Associates 0-940776-18-9, Oct ’84 [Nov ’84], $14.95, 306pp, hc); Original anthology of 21 previously unpublished stories by Bradbury, Bloch, Grant, Gene Wolfe, and others, plus an interview with Richard Matheson and an unpublished Beaumont story. These are “works of horror and the supernatural.” Probably not available in many bookstores—this is definitely worthwhile. (CNB)
