The Year’s Best Science Fiction: Ninth Annual Collection ed. Gardner Dozois (St. Martin’s 0-312-07891-9, Jul ’92, $15.95, 575pp, tp, cover by Bob Eggleton); Best-of-the-year anthology of 28 stories plus a summation of the year in the field by Dozois. A hardcover edition (-07889-7, $27.95) is also available, but the limited edition listed on the copyright page was cancelled. This is the best of the yearly books and the only one devoted to sf. Highly recommended (CNB).
