Shadows of the Future: H G Wells, Science Fiction and Prophecy Patrick Parrinder (Liverpool University Press 0-85323-449-3, Jul ’95 [Aug ’95], £15.00, xii+170pp, tp); Non-fiction, criticism. This views Wells’ early and seminal SF works in the context of his whole career. Most of the book was previously published as essays, all being revised for this edition. Edited by Christopher and Barbara Roden, it was produced for The Ghost Story Society Convention in 1994. A card-covered booklet, with illustrations by Dallas Goffin.


Anticipations: Essays on Early Science Fiction and its Precursors ed.
