This special leatherbound gilt-edge edition is part of the “Signed First Editions of Science Fiction” series and is available by subscription only.

Arthur C. Clarke: The Authorised Biography Neil McAleer (Contemporary Books 0-8092-4324-5, Nov ’92, $21.95, 430pp, hc) Non-fiction; biography. This American edition has a foreword by Ray Bradbury and differs textually by about 10% from the British first. The updated American edition is the author’s preferred text. First American edition (Gollancz 1992 as Odyssey: The Authorised Biography of Arthur C. Clarke).
