The Marvellous Land of Snergs E. A. Wyke-Smith (Old Earth Books 1-882968-03-4, Sep ’96 [Aug ’96], $35.00, 220pp, tp, cover by George Morrow) Reprint (Ernest Benn 1927) classic children’s fantasy, a precursor and possible influence for The Hobbit. This is a facsimile, with corrections, of the 1928 Harper & Brothers edition. There are illustrations by George Morrow, an introduction by Tolkien scholar Douglas A.
