The 1999 World Fantasy Awards Winners will be announced at the 2000 World Fantasy Convention in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 29. There will also be an award for Life Achievement although the nominees are not announced in advance. The nominees (including Life Achievement) were chosen by members of the current and previous World Fantasy Convention (two per category) plus a panel of judges. The 1999 Awards Judges are Suzi Baker, W. Paul Ganley, Tim Holman, Marvin Kaye, and Melissa Scott. The judges will pick the winners. For information on the convention, see the convention's website.
