SFFH on General Lists

Stephen King's new Dark Tower novel, Wolves of the Calla (Donald M. Grant/Scribner) debuts strongly on 6 lists (one in the UK), as high as #2 on three of them. James Luceno's latest Star Wars novel drops off Amazon lists but debuts on 3 other lists. Other debuts this week include paperback editions of Crichton's Timeline and Koontz's By the Light of the Moon, and two The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King tie-in books, one in hardcover by Jude Fisher, the other in trade paper by Chris Smith. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.

Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.
