Science Fiction Stories

The numbering derives from Future Science Fiction, one of two titles so derived. With the September 1955 issue the publisher placed the phrase "The Original" above the title logo. This was only an advertising phrase and not an actual title change, though it is often referred to by SF fans as The Original Science Fiction Stories. After publication ceased, the title was bought and used on a fanzine, which was titled The Original Science Fiction Stories. See separate entry under that title.
