Copper Star ed. Bruce D. Arthurs (1991 World Fantasy Convention, Oct ’91, no price, 221pp, hc, cover by Arlin Robins) Original anthology of 15 fantasy stories set in the Southwest and written by Southwestern writers including Ed Bryant, Melanie Tem, and Jennifer Roberson. There is an introduction by the editor and illustrations by various artists. 900 copies were distributed free at the 1991 World Fantasy Convention in Tucson AZ. A “retail” signed, numbered, slipcased edition of 300 copies is available for $30.00, and a signed leatherbound edition of 26 lettered copies was also produced, mostly for free distribution to contributors and guests.
