Isaac Asimov’s Choice ed. Anon. (Hale 0-7090-2764-8, Oct ’86, £10.95, 255pp, hc) Anthology of stories from Isaac Asimov’s SF Magazine selected from previous IASFM anthologies. No editor is named. There are stories by Aldiss, Asimov, Anderson, Clarke, etc. There doesn’t seem to be an American equivalent volume.


Re/Search #10: Incredibly Strange Films ed. Anon. (Re/Search 0-940642-09-3, Mar ’86, $12.99, 223pp, pb) Non-fiction, critical, large-format paperback, part of an ongoing series of publications. This one is on the weirdest genre films, with interviews, articles on genre types (biker, “mondo”, “industrial jeopardy”, etc.), a directory of film personalities, and quotations, etc. By mail it’s $15.00 ($20 air overseas).
