Kelly) [Solomon Kane] Reprint (Grant 1968 as Red Shadows) collection of 13 stories and three poems about the 16th century adventurer. Third in Baen’s “Robert E. Howard Library” series. There is a new introduction by Ramsey Campbell discussing his completion of three of the stories in 1976. There is also a two-page fragment not in the original edition. The completed stories first appeared in the two-volume reprint of the original: Skulls in the Stars (1978) and The Hills of the Dead (1979).

Cormac Mac Art Robert E. Howard & David Drake (Baen 0-671-87651-1, Mar ’95 [Feb ’95], $5.99, 209pp, pb, cover by C. W. Kelly) Collection of sword and sorcery stories about Howard’s character Cormac Mac Art. There are two stories by Howard, a new novelette by Drake, and three stories finished from Howard’s fragments by Drake. Volume 1 in “The Robert E. Howard Library” of newly re-edited stories.

Typewriter in the Sky L. Ron Hubbard (SFBC #07691, Aug ’95 [Jul ’95], $7.98, 197pp, hc, cover by Blas Gallego) Reprint (Gnome 1951 as Typewriter in the Sky/Fear) fantasy novel. A man finds himself transported into an adventure being written by a friend. There is a new introduction by Kevin J. Anderson. The Bridge Publications edition was supposed to precede this, but has not been seen; this is presumably similar, but has no price and has the SFBC number on the back jacket.

This is the same as the SFBC edition listed last month, except it has a price and ISBN, and no SFBC number on the back jacket.
